line 75-76: Please add a few words here to explain, as you did in the response to the reviewer.

lines 135-136: I think that the term "ad-hoc" is misleading. I suggest to skip the first part of the sentence and to write only "The lower dome is hold by a metallic support to maintain the entire structure in vertical position (Figure 2)."

Lines 198-199: Please reformulate and shift the description of the OPC sampling line after the OPC description (after "The OPC working flow is 1.2 L min-1 and it is connected to ChAMBRe through a gate valve which is closed before emptying the chamber volume.") Here you can add something like: "This position allows for sampling without any sampling tube".


Line 222: please use "Aerosol particle lifetime"

Line 226: Please use "aerosol particle lifetime" here as well

Line 231: replace "micrometric range" by "micrometer size range"

Line 239 ff and 346 ff: You introduce the BLAM twice. Since it seems to be important both in sections 3.1 and in section 4.2, I agree with the suggestion of the reviewer: Move the BLAM description in section 2, where all instruments are described. There you can discuss the details of the BLAM and the reason why it is applicable for bioparticle production.

Line 321: Insert (OD) after "optical density"

Line 415: the reviewer asked "Explain what kind of filter unit you used." You answered: "This is a very simple tool, quite common in chem. labs. (Fig. 3-4). Should we describe it in detail?" If a manufacturer can be given that would be sufficient.

Figure 4: I agree with referee #1 that CFU data would be helpful. Please add a graph with the corresponding CFU concentrations to Figure 4

thank you for the revised version and for considering my comments.
However, I overlooked in my first review that occasionally you still write "aerosol lifetime" instead of "aerosol particle lifetime" or "particle lifetime".
Please replace all "aerosol lifetime" by "aerosol particle lifetime" or "particle lifetime". This is the physically correct expression, as pointed out by the reviewer, because "aerosol" refers to the particles and the gas.
